One point one should have warned the drivers of the recovery, but due to the tracks geography, they could not see the broken down car or the recovery vehicle. There was a communicator and a flag Marshall with a wireless headset tuned into the race control channel like myself. The two men got out protected by nothing else than high vis church and gloves.
