I think it's reasonable to provide weapons to Ukraine to defend itself against aggression. But the United States has a position, is the US going to insist that there be no negotiations so that we can severely weaken Russia? Don't forget, Ukraine is not a free actor in this. They're dependent on what the United States determines. Anyone who has a gray cell functioning should be worried about the risk of nuclear war. That's why the doomsday clock was set to 90 seconds to midnight.
