Caesar's Triumph in Rome
The Romans had a very rich understanding of their own history and that of the Greeks because you know you sort of don't have room without Greece if you get my meaning. And so this actually sets off an even greater imbalance which Rome is starting to attain in its multicultural nature. The Gallic War was where Caesar's nascent military abilities really come to the fore. In eight years he defeats all 60 tribes of Gaul. He incorporates them into into the Roman Republic into Rome. But again exacerbates that problem of now we're introducing not just a case of what's Rome standing for, but how does Rome actually corporate the Greeks of Macedon?
