The Five Families
A new umbrella initiative called the Five Families is trying to organise the right of the Conservative Party. The 92 group basically acts as a kind of coordinator for the centre right of the party. And then there are the others, the common sense group, the Growth Group and the ERG. All these groups are pretty fluid, but the idea is that if you kind of have these meetings, even on an ad hoc basis, at some point, if an issue comes along that you can find common ground on, then you can perhaps block or force change.
