"I've spent the last five years in LA chasing a dream that is not obtainable anymore," he says. "So I got so frustrated during one of the reads that I walked out of the audition room and I sat in front of the production office." The actor had to borrow $100 from his mom to make it to an audition for Stranger Things. He was cast as Steve Harrington, but has since been tapped into other roles.
