The difficulty of a slave revolt in Nietzsche's sense from truly succeeding, truly having what Graham she calls a moment of true catharsis, is the introduction of windfall equality. In that sense, the revolution had had completely collapsed in some sense. And so immediately, what I think is interesting as a provocation for us to think about is the idea of what equality in fact is.
