God's Effects Are Good

Dionysius claims to have written another work on these more physical descriptions of God, but if it ever existed, this work is lost. That leaves us with terms like good, love, powerful, eternal, righteous, and so on. The tension between positive and negative approaches to God is the theme that runs throughout the divine names.
