The Master Narrative and the Master Question That Bruggeman Lays Out for Us
Bruggeman: Yahweh's chosen people in displacement must never sign on to the grip and ideology of empire. He says there's no particular nation state that represents God's kingdom, but it's a kingdom of all believers. The promise is really the life that people can grasp hold of and start to live in this scary wilderness aiming for a truer relationship with something greater than themselves.
