The Limits of Being an Artist
I grew up in a culture of people pleasing. And so I really had to look at the way I was raised and see how that was making me give more of myself than I actually could or should. People view me as the brown native who's bringing back this quote unquote lost art without really knowledge about who I am or where I come from. So yeah, it's a lot. But I'm trying, you know, and I think I'm learning along the way.
