A poor way of fairing man teaches a wonderful lesson in all of the verses except the introductory verse. In the eyes of God no such thing as sacrifice in the way that commonly we think of sacrifice. Joseph and Hyrum gave their lives, but what they got was greater than anything we can ever give. That's how we're ready when we understand that truth.
