YC's Cohort Model: A Lifelong Community
There is something, at least in startups and technology, that YC made legible with sort of their YC winner 19 or with the batch. We started the cohort model in 2019. In 2017, people weren't putting, you know, on decker in their bio. So I'm a big believer in, we would now, we say our cohort structure is eight week onboarding to a lifelong community.
