Kiefer and Julia were due to be married at the 20th century Fox film lot, which was done up to mimic a garden for 150 guests. Now in an interview with the LA Times just a week before the big day, Julia explained why she chose the studio for the wedding location. She said that Fox Studio Chief Joe Roth, who I mentioned before, the dad of the seven-year-old with a Nintendo, was a dear friend. And for that reason, she also said that there was a certain symmetry or poetry to getting married on a movie sound stage.
