In the past 170 years, there has been no increase in the frequency or strength of North Atlantic hurricanes. To power windmills and solar panels, you need rare earth metals like lithium. There is no country that just uses wind and solar. You have to have a reliable backup because the sun doesn't always shine,. Britain figured this out in 2018 when they had a wind drought and their wind energy plummeted. Only five countries in the world get more than 20% of their energy from wind. The richest countries on earth use the most fossil fuels and the poorest countries on earth have the least fossil fuels.
