The Role of Protein Homeostasis in Aging

The idea of proteostasis is the maintenance of the proteins functioning in a way that they're supposed to. We are really focused on maintaining the proteome because we know that decline of muscle function is often more so and more rapid than the decline in muscle mass. And then also, you know, people talk about the exercise pill and exercise, but to get all the different things in the anxiety reducing the pressure reducing the improving your lipids, the insensitivity. It's going to take more than one pill one, one sort of mechanism you're trying to get out.
