The Cypress Hill Massacre
Buffalo pemmican was really an important trade item. The buffalo were declining considerably by the late 18 sixties. A lot of people would be involved in what we now call the cypress hill massacre. It began when a bunch of american wolfers, the wolf hunters, claimed that some first nation's people stole their horses. So they decided to get the us Military involved.
