The Benefits of Financial Independence

Pursuing financial independence not only empowers you, but it also allows you to enjoy your current situation more. I know for me, I was quite miserable in my job and the thought of doing it for the next 30 plus years was really depressing. But once I got on this path to financial independence and realized that within the next five years without changing anything about my spending or savings, I could reach financial independence. It just totally changed my outlook on things. And I actually realized that I didn't hate my job. It was just the fact that I felt trapped. So I started to actually enjoy my job.
