What Are Covered Calls?
Uncovered call writing is not risking a portfolio. It's actually reducing the risk modestly. You're modestly reducing their potential upside capture. Just like owning stocks, tare a little bit more mature, they have little less volatility. We use covered calls to further smooth out the volatility of the portfolio.
