What Are You Guys Doing?

The most ruthless and extreme elements in any given conflict are almost always able to dictate the terms of the fight, even if there's just one % of each side. Without hard rules and confidence that the other side is going to follow those rules, every conflict eventually devolves into a series of atrocities. There are only two ways to short out this process, as far as i can tell. You've either got strong institutions, or else, you've got strong, unified leadership on both sides. And both of these conditions are conspicuously absent as we pick up our story in palestine.
