The Importance of Working the Spine Directly

One of the biggest ones was actually training my spine. Your spine's natural function is flexion. From that we have extension and as a bipedal animal, we have lateral flexion and lateral stabilizers too. Just training those individually opened up so much more as far as strength work, control, and injury prevention for me.
