Breast Cancer Screening in Asian Women

Asian American women, both US born and immigrants, have poor screening attendance. Even among those who undergo screening, there is longer delay in follow-up after an abnormal screen result. The use of digital breast trauma synthesis has increased invasive cancer detection and reduced recall rates. Many Asian women will benefit from this given dense breast tissue pattern and younger age distribution of breast cancer in this demographic.
