Genetic Continuity in China

The number of people that occupy the people's Republic of China Northeast Asia like this area seems to have been quite large for a long time. This is not, you know, I don't know who's shocked by but I mean, this is not that shocking. The Chinese sometimes like to say that they're very good at assimilating, they are, and you see it in their genes. But what happened in China is somewhat different because the expansion of imperial China seems to have facilitated a demographic waiting towards people from the Yellow River Valley initially.
