Pake: I kept thinking of Freud's The Uncanny as you were talking because that he really goes deep into that particular brand of monstrosity there. And what you have is basically the perfect Darwinian construct. It points to the absolute emptiness of our own being. What we're seeing is ourselves, but not quite. Something a little, yeah, and the anxiety around that. But there's also in a situation like a horror film where it's dark and you just see a glimmer of something,. Of course, what you want isYou want to unfold things from the darkness into the light of day.
