Sequal Server - Is the Log Back Up Required?

Some folks get the idea that if they use affinity masking to tell the sequel server to only use certain cores, that they only have to pay for licensing those cores. This is not the case with sequal server. When you're running inin a virtual machine, you need to license all of those virtual cpus. If you don't want log back up, be in a different recovery model and don't do log back ups. And when you're licensing at th host level, you have to license all the physical cores in that server, all of them.
