The Story of Maria's Disappearance
Maria was rushed to nearby Alfred Hospital in a critical condition. It shocked both police and medical staff that she was still alive after the intense drama her body had clearly been through. To release pressure and swelling on her brain, Maria was quickly put into an induced coma. This allowed medical staff to start treating her extensive injuries without putting her fragile body through more traumatic strain or pain. The extent of her injuries were devastating. She had severe dehydration. Her heart was weak, barely pushing blood through her arteries. Blood pressure so low her blood vessels were no longer visible. A CT scan revealed brain swelling. Her flash vegid patches of black dead skin. There was absolutely no question about what had happened
