I write five songs a year, but I also find that there seems to be three or four or five, maybe different ways of doing it. Some songs are written quicker than others are easier and other ones are toiled over for a long time. There's always a love to make music and obviously it's the only thing that I know how to do at this point in my life. It would be really hard to start again at something. But certainly now, having two kids and being the sole moneymaker and the responsibility of that, working becomes really, truly a necessity like it is for everybody.
