The decision to take on Meso-Ersel was a very significant kind of watershed moment for him, especially given how it had played out for the previous manager. And I'm not sure it was always entirely fair, but it was the right thing for him as a manager and for the club more broadly. But George Graham wanted to instill greater discipline and those guys were gone and the young guys were in.
