I played trombone in fourth grade because it was cool because I could hit the kid in the back of the head in front of me with the slide. They also told me my lips were too big to play trumpet and I was like, Wow. That's really nice to tell a kid, you know. Anyway, um... I played Bad Rock Guitar by a year in high school. Went away to college at a place Webster University where they had a conservatory and I didn't know enough to be scared. Uh, became a classical theory and composition major. What year was this? 1970. And, left St Louis in 75, did some recording there with different people. Oh,
