Most people have heard this idea that we need to get eight hours sleep a night. Some people need slightly less sleep than that to function at their best, and some people need slightly more sleep. A study found that what you should be aiming for is eight to eight and a half hours in bed. The older that we get, actually the less sleep that we tend to get.
