The Dissociation of the Psyche

Donald Kalschett, who was on our last session episode, really talks about dissociation or the cutting away of parts of ourselves as an act of enormous violence. Now, if we remember projection, by the way, is a totally unconscious process. We don't choose it. But the psyche does it as a primitive coping mechanism.
