The Importance of Simulations in Cosmology
The book is about coding the cosmos, developing simulations and giving us a look into the basics of those. The idea of simulations is that we get some of the world's best computers to do a lot of the hard work for us. If you want to track what's happening to all of these materials across cosmic time, then it really helps to have a computer to do a lots of the hard calculations that go alongside that. And I guess in the end, what they're really doing is trying to piece that together and see how all of these different elements interact and come together to produce this very rich, evolving universe that we all live in.
