Ethnic Stereotyping in the Twelfth Century

The book looks at first list produced in a monastic context, from nine 50 to the twelfth century. Stereotyping was considered in an education in that period and also as a central component of successfully am describing a phenomena in the world. And you see in that sense, that ethnicity and stereotypes are used, particularly in colonization effort. So these are very much rhetorical arguments that have been made about property power, er security. They're not just ethnic jokes among people among themselves, you know, having fun and just poking fun thes. There's actually a lot going on with these stereotypes.
