Intel's Approach to AI Is Different or Unique?

Intel is not the first company one would think of when we think of AI. But under new CEO Pat Gelsinger, Intel has tried to reverse course in many ways. They have put considerably more resources into future leading research. And by putting a few hundred million dollars into research, it's possible to secure future businesses that are worth many billions of dollars. This is a thing that Intel can not afford not to do.
