The Importance of Parenting With ADHD
There's very little robust research on parenting in general with ADHD. Most adult men with ADHD are also not diagnosed. Even with diagnosis and treatment, many of the aspects of parenting hit those exact buttons. Low parent sleep quality, fewer social support, more home chaos is linked to severity of ADHD symptoms. One aspect for men is that it was only really their own ADHD symptoms that predicted higher levels of home chaos, not their own kids.
