The Importance of Relationships With Parents

I think that a lot of us sort of function in this place where it's not that I don't want to be friends or like to be in relationship with my parents. Like there's nothing more that I want to have like a good relationship with a parent. Because I love him, right? Even if he uses the epsilon or even if he makes all of our relationship things transactional. That is such a red flag for me.
