Is There a Pattern That Creates Immoral Communities?
The study found that borders and check points actually give people a feeling of security. This is because the other side is constructed as a threat to them, even though they're more at risk. The paradox of this situation is that it leads to an increase in barricades which lead to violence against civilians.
