The D Sound

In the original story, one was firefighters, the other one was cops. So now you're talking about two bodies. You never hear about grays with red eyes. And then they slit for the nose and the mouth. Why would they take them to a civilian hospital? Why wouldn't they take them at a military base or something? They sound like grace because they were taller than grace. No navels, three long fingers on the hands. I have questions, please.
