The Critique of Individualism
Sally Kohn: Can we use this to focus in on as a sort of a final word from you on the critique of individualism that runs throughout here? We see this in two different ways. There's this Hobbesian over simplistic atomic view of the self that really all of continental philosophy is arguing against. This will not be anything new, she says. But definitely the political sort of comes second. Skelton: A part of your critique of individualist was, no, that if you think that you're doing it as an individual, that there's something naive about that. The political has to be built in right from the start.
