The Perseverance Mission - What's Going on in Gessaro?
The Perseverance mission has found that the flat floor of Gessaro crater is not lake bed sediments. It's lavas, which is disappointing from the point of view that I was looking for life. The rover is now at the very bottom of the steep face of the delta in amongst some very fine grain sediments. And that's a chance for finding some fossilized microbes.
