We have to make sure that we're setting systems up to be able to meet the need that they are designed to meet. A really, really great example of this is actually an American system that was set up after the Civil War. We value life along a kind of economic and moral gradient, right? Where certain people's lives mean more and are more valuable to society than others. And so I think what we're asking people with health communism is not just to imagine what all care for all people could be like in your community but what it actually means as a statement.
