I think that's where a lot of teachers kind of end up is that they get frustrated with what is happening or not happening and so they do start to look for other places. A lot of the time in many cases those teachers are ones who blithely will take their training at face value because as we know, initial teacher education isn't fit for purpose. I dare say numeracy as well due to the rise of progressive education but in a lot of cases these teachers would blithely do what they'd been taught because that's what they knew. When you have your own children suddenly realize oh my child isn't actually thriving with this then it can be remediated very easily.
