Delete Your Backlog. You Don't Need It
I'm a huge fan of deleting the backlog. There's one to three things that are coming up next and five things that are going to happen later. And then the second thing is I map this to a structure called double diamond design. Double diamond design is used by designers to think about the problem and the solution as separate steps. So when you're in the later phase, my five items there, they're in the problem research step. When I have a problem definition, only then can they move to the next step. Then solution ideation can begin. And when it's now, we're really talking about delivering that solution.
