The Role of the Administrator in the University's Governance
Bob Greene: I remember the episode at stanford where about 80 of us were signatories on a document that basically said that we felt that this individual and our faculty was poorly representing the university. He says it's unfortunate that the whole thing happened but there was some powerful good news that some people were willing to stand up and take a perspective. Greene: What happens at administrative levels is that people feel this sense of of real tension of you know am I violating somebody else's rights in order to support other groups rights or do we actually know what's right and wrong?
