The Ultimate Good That We Pursue Is Participation in God's Life
Thomas aquinas: Participation in god's life is the ultimate good that we pursue. And if we achieve that, in heaven, presumably, then our freedom is fulfilled. We call that free fore el, not ice. Why we say freef all? I mean, why set free while it is? Because that thing is doing what it naturally wants to do. It goes to the centre of gravity, and there is no obstacle in the way it fulfils its nature by which it gravitates to that centre of gravity.
