The Importance of Urgency
When you were at first elected, it probably wasn't as big an issue as it is now. What we did was to make it a campaign thing in the first time - but yeah, people are now behind you. And I'm hoping that this will help people hopefully come to that realization. You don't need to be the mayor to have these issues. They could apply to you, you could have somebody right next to you who says there's nothing we can do about it. Apathy explains how many of us respond to situations with fatalism or cynicism.
