The eagle's trial was a randomized, double line clinical trial that compared the three fda prove medications as well as plisebo. The continuous quit rates at six months were about 22 % for vereniclin, about 16% for bupropion and about 10% for placebo group. It suggested that verenclin even given earlier than somebody's ready to say, yes, i'm quit smoking in the next week or two weeks, it can still be effective.
