In hunter-gatherer societies, the men went hunting and then they came back. They were still present in the lives of their children in a perhaps more higher volume way. Our generation, we now have this very active financial capitalist thing where dad leaves the house or comes home in the evening. So that there is less face time with dad but it has always been the domain of women to raise infants.
