The Importance of Order in the Old Testament

The order in which the Old Testament is read helps us to understand its message, says author Sam Harris. Getting the order right helps us to clarify it, he argues. He gives an example of how this works by reading Chronicles at the end of Genesis and then getting into Psalms as you go from one section to the next. "I submit that if you put the books in the order, wherever Chronicles is in the writings, there is some diversity"
