20-flight rock was a moderately obscure song. It appeared in The Girl Can't Help It, a film which every rock and roll of Rimbriton had watched at the cinema over and over. Choosing that song rather than say B-Boppa Lula was a way of announcing a kind of group affiliation. They were music fans and often fans of relatively obscure records. That's something that bound Lennon and McCartney and later the other members together from the start.
