Justin books the first film he auditions for, a small indie short called The White Spruce. Some of the jobs he gets are background roles, like being an extra. Justin also goes for stand-in work, which means he's literally standing in for an actor who's going to be in the scene. For Justin, it's the first taste of an uncomfortable new reality.
