The Making of Myth George Washington Carver

George Washington Carver was born in a small town diamond Missouri not even a town or rural community on southwestern Missouri probably as a slave. He winds up cutting himself off from his family and heading out to Kansas in search of an education he witnesses a lynching right across the border and that drives him further west so he becomes a kind of forest gumpy in character. After the civil war is adopted by this family and by all indications it's a loving relationship he stays in touch with the Carver family for the rest of his life right.
